Sicilian Superfood Essential Oils, Starring Brenda & Stanley™️…
Ciao!
“Hey mambo, mambo Italiano, go go Joe, you mixed it up Siciliano…All you Calabrese do the mambo like a crazy and hey mambo, don’t wanna tarantella, hey mambo, no more a mozzarella…shake-a-baby, shake-a…”. Written by Bette Midler and famously sung by many, including Sophia Loren, Rosemary Clooney & Dean Martin. (lyricfind, 2022)
Our beloved, Sicilian Lip Gloss Trio returns with divine, essential oil obsessed, lip vibes in 2022, and it reaffirms our deep appreciation for all things Italia!
Though this vegan-vibrant lip gloss set is available year-round, we honor it with elevated energy and proper historical status for its unique role in the Mizzi line up. Sicilian Trio, for us, is personal.
Sicilian Trio Back Story: Did you know that Mizzi Founder, Brenda M., is Sicilian-American? Her mother, Mama Mizzi (her family name is actually—wait for it—Mizzi!), was born and raised in Noto, Sicily before she emigrated in her 20’s to the USA. Brenda and her family still make frequent trips to reconnect to their heritage and research authentic and inspiring ingredients.
Our lovely, fruit of the gods, lip gloss trio is curated with only the finest sourced essential oils, direct from Italia. Need an exquisite, European lip experience? Try Sicilian Lemon, Mandarin Dolce & Arancia Rosa for a mouth watering, vacation escape, complete with castor oil for extra shine and softening-skills, vitamin E for mega restorative power, and a touch of natural mica for a symphony of subtle shimmer.
Fun cult facts about the trifecta of lip leisure: There is no tree nut oil in the Sicilian Trio, which makes it a great option for anyone with tree nut allergies. All three glosses are curated by hand and contain gentle, natural exfoliators, rich antioxidants and signature essential oils that help mitigate dark spots, stimulate cell regeneration, and deliver anti-inflammatory doses of healing and harmonious Sicilian swag in a tube. Gloss is truly boss in this summer icon.
What’s better than enjoying happy hour & prosecco, whilst casually lounging on a veranda, in a beautiful, Italian seaside setting? Almost nothing…except our trio. Like any great Mediterranean appetizer, this lip gloss pairs well other delightful items, namely: The Original Lip Scrub & Masque, Citrus Kiss Lip Scrub, as well as our new Pineapple HA Lip Soak Masque, launching this summer.
Why are the superfood-essential-oils so particularly delicious & delectable? They are deliberately harvested from the best soils and healthiest agricultural environments in Sicily, cultivated in different regions to capitalize on the abundance, viability and impactfulness of each fruit. The combination of nutrient–rich Mediterranean soil, the volcanic earth surrounding Mt. Etna, as well as the hot climate make for a veritable feast of super-powered products with passion.
HUE-MOR US! Our Sicilian glosses have beautiful hues. Sicilian Lemon has a light, yellow, sparkle; Mandarin Dolce has a subtle orange sparkle; Arancia Rosa has a gentle, red sparkle. Think— Italian sunsets.
Curious about the primary essential oils we formulate for ST? How about: Sicilian Lemon Peel Oil ~” Limone Riviera”, bright, sweet & refreshing...a true wake up call for your lips. Sicilian Mandarin Peel Oil...from groves in Palermo, crisp, sweet, fresh marmalade-like and exquisite to taste and feel. Sicilian Blood Orange Peel Oil~ cultivated in Piana de Catania and in the village of Siracusa, sweet, red, pulpy and fleshy, deep red signature color. ALL THREE ARE ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSES.
Speaking of Italian-inspired powerhouses, does anyone know the guy on the cover of our blog post? (Photo credit CNN).
Hellooooooooo, Stanley!
Stanley, meet Mizzi, Brenda and our essential oil appetizers for the lips.
Any chance we get our other favorite, Italian-American film, travel, cuisine & cultural guru, some signature sourced, custom Mizzi Sicilian glosses? If that’s not a marriage made in Heaven, we don’t know what is.
Stanley, we’ve got some Sicilian lip joy with your name all over it. Thanks for being a great messenger of super-ingredient, foodie energy for the rest of us.
“When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that’s amore”…Written by Harry Warren & Jack Brooks, sung by Dean Martin. (genius.com)
